New flowers form as old ones fade gracefully for a showier, extended bloom period. Excellent tolerance to rain and humidity. Light yellow flowers from early summer to fall above soft, silvery upright foliage. Blooms of Bressingham selection. CULTURAL NOTES: All Yarrow benefit from good drainage and prefer poor to average soil. NOMENCLATURE NOTES: 'Achillea' (named for Achilles, who supposedly learned of Yarrow's medicinal qualities from his mentor, Chiron the Centaur, and used it to treat his men's wounds on the battlefield) and 'taygetea' (from the Taygetos mountains in Greece) Gallon pot.
