Clementine Pink Columbine produces sweet and soft upward facing double, shell pink flowers that resemble a clematis. The double clear pink spur-less flowers of Aquilegia Cameo Pink are held in domed clusters above deep green foliage. Grows to 18" tall with nodding blooms held on stiff, upright stems. Flowers appear in late April - May. As with all Aquilegia or Columbines, Clementine Pink prefers compost-enriched soil with regular irrigation and protection from the afternoon sun. Grown and shipped in a 1 gallon nursery trade container. CULTURAL NOTES: Columbines hybridize readily in the garden, so try planting individual colors at least 20 feet away from each other to preserve their individuality over the years. NOMENCLATURE NOTES: 'Aquilegia' ( "Eagle's claw", referring to the flower morphology)
