Bergenia cordifolia 'Eroica' (Pig Squeak)

Forms a low mound of glossy green leaves which turn a rich intense red at the first frost and hold throughout the winter. Lovely magenta blooms above glossy green foliage are a welcome sight in spring. Very striking in mass plantings or used as an edging along a walkway. Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions and is happy in both both sun or part shade. Deer and rabbit resistant.
