Campsis radicans ( Trumpet Vine ) 1 Gallon

A native Trumpet vine, radicans is extremely floriferous and vigorous producing rosy-red trumpet-shaped flowers that attract hummingbirds into the garden. Train this vigorous climber on a wall, trellis, arbor, or fence.

CULTURAL NOTES: Campsis is an easy to grow, free-flowering climber that attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Campsis or Trumpet Creeper vines produce large trumpet-shaped flowers in colors ranging from yellow to orange to red. Drought tolerant once established; they thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Fertilize in the spring and again during the summer with a balanced, organic fertilizer. Provide ample water the first growing season to encourage deep root growth. To train, tie vines up onto a trellis, on a fence, wall, or arbor. Prune out 1/3 of the old wood each year to promote new flowers.
