Certified Organic Seed Potatoes: Mountain Rose All Red Organic Seed Potato (25 Lbs.)

A wonderful red potato with medium-sized tubers that have smooth, brilliant red skin with medium shallow eyes and pink swirled flesh that retains its color after cooking. Like its parent All Red, the Mountain Rose variety is high in anti-oxidants and is good for steaming or boiling and makes an attractive and unusual potato salad.


ABOUT SEED POTATOES: Plant seed potatoes just prior to the average last frost in your area. One pound of seed potatoes will produce 10-15 pounds of potatoes under good growing conditions. One pound of seed potato will plant about 8' of row when planted 10-12" apart. Baby potatoes may usually be dug about 2 weeks after the plant sets flowers.
