Extremely floriferous Coreopsis, producing non-stop flowers for four months. Bi-color red and golden yellow flowers are produced in clusters completely covering the tidy green foliage. This robust perennial plant thrives in heat and humidity making it ideal for Southern gardens.

CULTURAL NOTES FOR COREOPSIS:Coreopsis in general thrive in poor to average well-drained soil. Avoid winter wet, and be patient in spring, as they break dormancy quite late.

NOMENCLATURE NOTES: Coreopsis: Greek 'koris' (bug) and '-opsis' (resembling) or 'buglike', thus the common name Tickseed, since the achenes resemble ticks. Verticillata:Whorled, referring to the leaf arrangement on the stems.
