Delightful apricot-custard colored flowers cover deep green threadleaf foliage all summer long. The graceful flowers perch atop sturdy, stiff stems making this an ideal Coreopsis for the container garden or perennial bed. Makes and ideal cut flower to add to natural looking arrangements or bouquets. A long blooming perennial plant, that produces compact, dark green foliage. Deer resistant and attracts butterflies!

CULTURAL NOTES FOR COREOPSIS:Coreopsis in general thrive in poor to average well-drained soil. Avoid winter wet, and be patient in spring, as they break dormancy quite late.
NOMENCLATURE NOTES: Coreopsis: Greek 'koris' (bug) and '-opsis' (resembling) or 'buglike', thus the common name Tickseed, since the achenes resemble ticks. Verticillata:Whorled, referring to the leaf arrangement on the stems.
