Glossy, bright green fronds catch the light and shadows in the shade garden! New growth emerges as stiff fronds that bend down to form a tassel-type form. Compact, ground cover type fern for mass planting under trees and in partial shade, especially under conifers as long as the soil is rich and can be kept evenly moist while getting established. Stunning when mixed with Astilbes and Hostas.
