Mesa Yellow Blanket Flower is a vigorous perennial plant that produces abundant flowers on multiple branches. Mesa Yellow keep blooming all summer long producing a profusion of bright yellow flowers with complimentary yellow cones. 2010 Fleuroselect Gold Medal winner

• USE FOR: Plant in containers, front of the border in perennial gardens, rock gardens, along walkways, plant in mass for maximum impact.             
• BLOOM TIME: June to October if deadheaded             
• PESTICIDE-FREE:  All of our plants are grown with sustainable organic methods.

• USDA HARDINESS: Zone 4 - 8        
• GROWS BEST IN: Full sun, well drained soil

CULTURAL NOTES: Blanket Flowers prefer well-drained soils with moderate fertility. Too much nitrogen will cause plants to flop. If the soil is too wet, Gaillardia will have trouble getting established, and may fizzle out after the first year. These tough perennial plants like it hot! For best results provide at least seven hours of direct sun.
