Aromatic white flowers in spring above unique tightly whorled foliage. A wonderful shade groundcover and herb. Wonderfully fragrant when in bloom or when walked upon. CULTURAL NOTES: May fade out in hot summers without ample moisture; prefers rich, moist soil but is quite adaptable to pH ranges. NOMENCLATURE NOTES: 'Galium' (referring to a plant known to the Greeks that was used to curdle milk) and 'odoratum' (referring to its fragrance when crushed) One of Galium's common names is 'Bedstraw', since it was once used to make a fragrant mattress stuffing. 3.5" pot
