Geranium Alice is a saucy, flowering groundcover type hardy geranium. We've planted this tough, petite , deer resistant perennial with Heuchera Midnight Rose for a knock-out combination. Also looks fabulous with Astible and Bleeding Hearts! Geranium Alice  forms a dense, low mat of silver-green leaves, with pale lilac-pink, black-eyed flowers resting on the trailing stems. Clip plants lightly after flowering is over, to promote bushy growth from the middle. Developed in Britain by plant breeder Carl Lowe.

CULTURAL NOTES: Will tolerate summer heat better with some shade and ample moisture. An excellent spreading groundcover in rich soil. NOMENCLATURE NOTES: 'Geranium' (Genus name from the Greek 'geranos' [crane], referring to the beak-like fruit, thus one of the common names 'Cranesbill') and 'himalayense' ('of the Himalayas') Gallon pot
