Unique deep burgundy, black deeply cut-leaf foliage is accentuated by violet-blue flowers that appear in late spring and continue blooming on and off until late August. A compact Geranium, plant in groups for maximum impact, add to container gardens or plant adjacent to water features. Stunning when planted with golden foliage Heucheras or Hostas.

CULTURAL NOTES: Will tolerate summer heat better with some shade and ample moisture. An excellent spreading groundcover in rich soil. NOMENCLATURE NOTES: 'Geranium' (Genus name from the Greek 'geranos' [crane], referring to the beak-like fruit, thus one of the common names 'Cranesbill') and 'himalayense' ('of the Himalayas')
