Fubuki translates as "snow storm" in Japanese, perfectly describing mass of mostly cream to white blades that are accentuated with green stripes. A graceful, casually draping ornamental grass, use in groups, or plant a singular specimen adjacent to a flagstone patio or fountain. Plant with lime green colored Heucheras, and Sutherland Gold Sambucus for high contrast. Hakonechloa originated in the Hakone region of Japan, thus the common name of Hakone grass.
