A cold hardy Hakonechloa grass that thrives in gardens in zone 4 - 8. Lush, bright green blades cascade in a graceful fountain like habit, swaying with the slightest breeze. Plant adjacent to water features and fountains, in container gardens or in Asian garden settings. Hakonechloa originated in the Hakone region of Japan, thus the common name of Hakone grass.
