Heuchera Mars

Heuchera Mars, part of the "Planet Collection", is a compact, dwarf shade perennial plant. Heuchera Mars has minty, mauve-red foliage with contrasting dark veins and pure white sprays of flowers atop sturdy 14 inch long stems. Deer resistant! From the Rockies to the Gulf coast, few plants say "native" like the Coral Bells. Heucheras flourish in compost-like, well-drained soils with morning sun. We fertilize once in early spring as plants are flushing out. Some varieties are extremely sun-tolerant, while others (especially the metallic-leaved forms) are happier in more shade.
