LIL' KIM™ Hibiscus s. is the first and only dwarf Rose of Sharon. A new must-have for every garden; this unique flowering shrub that is also deer resistant grows to only 3 feet tall. Lovely pure white hibiscus shaped flowers are set-off by the rich ruby-red eyes. Unlike most other Rose of Sharon plants, Lil' Kim blooms throughout the summer with flowers that last for 3 or more days at a time. Use Lil' Kim Hibiscus as an accent shrub or plant in masse to create a dwarf flowering hedge, plant in containers or in a small garden space. Grows in any soil unless it is either very dry or very wet. Prune in late fall or early spring. Can be heavily pruned since it blooms in summer on new wood. Prefers medium moisture and well-drained soil. Deciduous shrub. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release organic fertilizer specialized for trees and shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application. This shrub is grown and shipped in a standard 1 gallon nursery trade container.
