As with all hydrangeas, Hydrangea arborescens Invincibelle Spirit prefers good, loamy soil, but this versatile hydrangea is adaptable to many different soil types. Best if pruned in late fall or early spring. Blooms on new wood. Make sure to prune off spent flowers when they turn brown. Deciduous shrub. Fertilize in early spring by applying an organic fertilizer specialized for trees and shrubs. This shrub is shipped in a standard nursery trade 2 gallon container.
