This native Evening Primrose produces large, deep golden-yellow flowers. A drought tolerant and heat tolerant perennial plant, Oenothera are ideal for use in rock gardens or perennial beds.
- USE FOR: Plant in containers, front of the border in perennial gardens, along walkways, plant in mass for maximum impact.

CULTURAL NOTES: Oenothera or evening primrose grow best in full sun locations with well drained soil. Water as needed throughout the summer, but avoid letting water stand or pool around plant. Shear back after blooming to keep flower production going and to clean up foliage in the summer as needed. Fertilize with a low nitrogen, organic fertilizer such as Down to Earth All Purpose.
