CULTURAL NOTES: Plant organic beet seeds in the early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Plant successive crops 3 weeks apart until late summer. Beets prefer light porous soil, so do well in improved raised beds or in containers of organic potting soil. The results can be extremely gratifying!
