USDA Certified Organic Seeds: Walla Walla Sweet Onion seeds
This delicious sweet onion is the pride of Washington State, and rightly so! Start these seeds early indoors and plant out in April. Due to their high sugar content, Walla Walla Onions are not good storage onions, so enjoy them fresh!
CULTURAL NOTES: Plant indoors 8-12 weeks before planting outside. If you sow them outside, you can enjoy smaller green onions. In frost free areas plant seeds in fall for late spring harvest. Onions have shallow roots, so they cannot compete with weeds. Keep rows well weeded. Allow tops to fall and begin to yellow before harvesting mature onions. Complete growing instructions included on packet.
