Penstemon pinifolius 'Compacta' features bright redflowers on a compact native! Bright needle-like foliage provides airy interest in the xeric garden. Mix with Artemisias or Catmints at the front of the border.
CULTURAL NOTES: Penstemons require very well-drained soil. Once established, however, they thrive on neglect.
