Excellent shade tolerant, creeping Phlox that thrives in humus rich soils with a slightly acidic pH. Plant under conifers or by Rhododendrons. Taller than most Creeping Phlox, Home Fires grow to 8 inches tall and will spread 24 inches.

Home Fires Creeping phlox is easy to grow. For best results follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. For a neat appearance, remove old foliage before new leaves emerge. Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in early spring. Shear back after phlox have finished blooming to promote a new flush of growth, and give phlox plants a tidy look throughout the summer.
