Summer Wine Ninebark is an exciting improvement over Physocarpus Diabolo, combining the deep dark purple foliage of Diabolo Ninebark with the compact form of Physocarpus Nana that we all love! A versatile size at only 5' x 4', Summer Wine works well in any garden setting. Hardy to zone 3, we have found Summer Wine Ninebark to be relatively pest-free, fast growing, very cold hardy and a shapely shrub that works well as an accent bush or creates a stunning hedge when planted in mass. Add branches of Summer Wine to cut flower arrangements for interesting foliage and contrast. In early June, when it blooms with white button-like flowers accent the leaves nicely. This shrub is shipped in a standard nursery trade 2 gallon container.
