Common Snowberry, also known as Waxberry, is a three feet high, deciduous shrub that produces lovely, delicate white berries on the tips of the branches. Hummingbirds visit this native plant in the summer when the small, pinkish flowers are on it. In the fall and winter, the native Snowberry is an important winter food source for quail, pheasant and grouse. This hardy native shrub is also versatile! Use in the garden as an accent shrub or plant in mass to stablize soil and attract wildlife to your yard. Symphoricarpos albus is a member of the Honeysuckle Family, the Caprifoliaceae. 2 year-old plant in a 6" gallon pot.
